Two people who were once very close can
without blame
or grand betrayal
become strangers.
perhaps this is the saddest thing in the world.

Just a few days away until the group show I curated Perceived Personas is here! If you’re in the bay area please come out on Monday night to see some great art by some talented ladies and hear some beautiful acoustic music by a few talented gents. It starts at 8:00 and is located in San Francisco’s SOMA district at 9th and Folsom. This show focuses on the complexities of self portraits, exploring the layers of deception and truth through various mediums such as bronze sculpture, photography, oil on canvas, mixed media, etc. Please come out and support your local artists! No cover.
p.s. it will also be my birthday!

The path taken to a place can be as definitive as the destination itself. When I look at these time worn trails through this familiar park I see the footprints of strangers and friends for years.

Trails often form along the path of least resistance through a terrain; an efficient cut through the underbrush used by animals as well as people heading somewhere.

I’ve been here many times from many ways for different reasons. It’s never the same, but it’s always beautiful.
